Mattes recommend regularly washing your sheepskins, preferably in a washing machine at max. 30 degres and on an extra rinse cycle.
To maintain performance and ‘fluff’, Mattes recommend tumble drying your sheepskin on a cool setting or max. 30 degres.
Wash your sheepskin pad regularly rather than trying to brush it clean. Brushing will cause wear and tear to your sheepskin, especially if clumped together by sweat and dirt.
