The knee boot can also be used as a preventive measure. Back on Track Knee Boot is fitted with three Velcro fasteners and is available for either right or left leg. To minimise the risk of the knee boot sliding down the horse’s leg, we recommend bandaging the leg below the boot, making sure the bandaging starts a few centimetres above the lower edge of the boot. This will prevent the boot from sliding down or having to be fastened taut. For an even better fit, try turning the knee boot upside down as the lower opening of the boot is narrower than the opening at the top.
