HO-Weymouth with revolving cheeks from Herm. Sprenger.
The HO-Weymouth from Spenger has cheeks that rotate which means that mouthpiece and cheeks work independent from each other. This allows poll pressure wihtout increasing the pressure on the tongue. The Sprenger HO-Weymouth has a slanting mouthpiece with a rounded port that supports a fine an delicate communication.
As the horse´s mouth narrows downwards and the weymouth is placed below the bridoon bit, Sprenger recomends that the weymouth should be 0,5 to 1 cm shorter than the bridon and the shanks should be close to the horse´s mouth for best stability and impact.
The weymouth is 14mm thick and has 7cm long shanks.
