The Novocontact double-jointed bit looks exactly like the Dynamic RS bit. However, the difference lies in the mouthpiece. The anatomic design of the mouthpiece is the same but the rest of the bit has been given a more oval shape. The transitions between the lozenge, mouthpieces and cheekpieces have been made softer for enhanced interaction and effect. This bit from Sprenger has thicker mouthpiece ends and a shape that functions differently depending on how light/hard the rein contact is. The Novocontact double-jointed bit is recommended for use on slightly stronger horses.
