The Sprenger Baucher is the perfect bit for changing from a snaffle to a curb bit (Weymouth).
This Baucher bit is double-jointed with a patented centre lozenge, the angle of which allows for the bit to take up the smallest possible space in the horse’s mouth. The stable positioning of this bit in the mouth results in a perpendicular pressure across the horse’s bars. The extra long shanks provide the same effect as bit guards or full cheeks. Clarifies and enhances instructions through the rein. This bit is suitable for use on sensitive horses as it lies very still in the mouth, even during free walk on a long rein.
