The Kineton noseband from BR Bieman de Haas distributes rein pressure between the bit and the horse’s nose, making it suitable for stronger horses or those that are sensitive to pressure from the bit.
Metal loops sit beneath the bit and transfer some of the rein pressure to the horse’s nose when contact is taken. This distributes pressure between the mouth and nose rather than concentrating it solely on the bit.
Correct fitting is essential, and the noseband should sit securely on the bony part of the nose without being positioned too low.
